( * Ebay auction - now ended *) £2.5k C5 on Ebay

Being sold as brand new and still in all its original packaging, but I still think the starting price of £2.5k is a bit optimistic  :-\;

I wouldn't spend £2.5k on a car without seeing it, especially if handing over cash, as requested in the auction.

That's a lot of money for a C5 you can't take out of a box (if you do you lose a lot of cash)

Well, he does say he will deliver it for free anywhere in Essex, I believe he really meant free delivery Anywhere !  :D Would be really nice to own one like this, in its box, never seen the light of day since it was boxed up 25 years ago. "Come on" if I could spend £2500 without denting my bank account I would  :) who of us wouldn't ?

I'm confused.  Why is this for sale at 2.5k, when Adam sells them in the box for £1200?  It just doesn't add up.

His wife has probably sold the contents a long while ago, and filled it with bricks !!!!!   :'(

I will make an offer on just the box to put mine in   ;D

You could get two for the same price from Adam ............  ::)

Someone wont be getting a NEW KITCHEN just yet i thinks !!   :'(

I think Adam sold unboxed new ones for 1200.

..I think you're right - it was £1200 unboxed, £1400 boxed and some accessories included . Plus he serviced them ready for use.

Makes £2.5k look a little steep...

£2500 is a lot of money, but I do think this one must a real one off being sealed in its box, if you did buy it, keeping it boxed would be the only way of retaining its high value, but who could buy it and not open it, have a play and show it off. Its got to be one for that well off collector (or his wife will have to replan that kitchen and have a new bathroom instead)  ;D

I think it's schroedingers cat.

Open the box, and it's lost its value

Don't open the box and there might not even be a C5 inside!

In effect, there is both a C5 and not a C5 inside....

How's that for Friday brain massage :)
