Neil from oldgoldtech has been in touch and is pleased with the arrangements, so we're all set for some internet stardom  8)

See you all there at 10am on the 13th  ;)

Sorry Karl ,but  won't be abl to make it, have to be in Loughbrough at lunchtime but will be coming down to the area late afternoon that day if anyone is stilll around to show me a sidescreen so that I can measure it and make a pattern. Please measure the area available to us for the AutoSolo( or, more correctly, C5Solo, and I will plot out a course and check the suitability of distances between cones with my C5 on my driveway. Will Brooklands be able to loan us cones on the day, and if so ,how many? Or, do any of our members have access to a goodly quantity (say 60-80) of same? Each waypoint needs two cones, either as a numbered gate to go through or as a pylon to go around with a laying down cone to show which way round to go.

We all had a really good day out at Brooklands today with the "oldgoldtech" team , and for me it was the perfect antidote to this weeks earlier disappointment in Antwerp  8)

The filming went very well and Brooklands did us proud by providing us with a nice sectioned off area to play in  ;D

All the OGT guys that tried out a c5 developed the "c5 grin" and seemed to enjoy themselves  :D

Here are a few of my piccies from the day, and no doubt a few more will follow from others who were there.  Can't wait to see the finished product from OGT though  :)

A very big thank you to Marty,Matt and Ray for travelling so far to help out and electricdave for bringing along the c-5000.

As electricdave said, days like today remind you what it is all about  ;)

ps - bit of a shocker to see the rear brake shoes had been greased on the c5 newly acquired by Max  :o

Some super pics there. What is the modded C5 with the front mounted bars and windshield? The C5000?

If the person is sitting very low, then yes it is the c-5000;

Some good news to cheer us up during this cold spell ! I've had an email from Neil at OGT, here is an extract ;

.....I've created a short teaser for the C5 alive show here: http://www.oldgoldtech.com/?p=534 . I'm also going to post it on Twitter and the Facebook Group tonight ......

......The main show from all the footage we took will be released in January 2011 – a lot on right now with Christmas but the footage looks great and thanks again for all the support on the day. I'll also send you the photos we have of the day in a separate email.

The teaser is superb, can't wait for the main event  ;D 8)
