This youtube video mentions the X-1 will be out in 2012

Has anyone heard anything from Sinclair since pre-ordering?

Not a thing, I think its bad that I did'nt even get any e-mail updating my pre-order, I've spent the money on a motorbike now, so perhaps next year will be better for me.

Guys, why not call them up and ask how they are getting on? If you have a pre-order in, they're sure to say something..

Why bother? There are other more practical battery commuter vehicles now.eg Gyroscopically balanced unicycles light and compact enough to carry upstairs.

Actually US$1400 for one with a seat. The one without a seat that you can just tuck under your arm so carry on onto the plane is less I believe .
