24v kit
« on: 16, March, 2011 - 18:11:43 »
Hi guys,

Well I'm hoping to have an old C5 before too long as a restoration projest but I have a question regarding 24v conversion.
Trawling through old posts (circa 2008!) I can see quite a few references to a 24v kit that the club was developing, but the information seemed to dry up and I would be very interested if someone could tell me the current status of this. Is there one available or in progress? Or was the project abandoned?
I know there was an issue with the plastic gearboxes and understand that a metal replacement was being looked into?

Ah, questions... questions  ;)

....still continues with Voodoo getting a proper test run at the end of the month on the Crawley Run. We like to test things to destruction  :D

Thanks for the info!
What a great project, it's looking very promising  ;D Well fingers crossed it all comes together because I'd definitely place an order for one of these kits.
