One Wheel Centre Cap!
« on: 27, May, 2013 - 20:33:11 »
I have come accross one wheel cap, so could do with one original wheel centre to make a pair! :)
Does anyone have a lone cap which could be parted with?

Cheers

Hi, depending on how important condition is to you I do have a spare one. It has one deep scratch and several small ones that could be sanded out, and has been painted grey for some reason. I've been keeping it as a spare in case I lose one of mine but might part with it if you're interested?

Hi Danny,

Thanks for your reply, but I think I will hold out for one that hasnt been painted, but a few scratches dont bother me!

Cheers

Actually I doubt it would even need that, it would probably come off with the sanding. I don't know it's story, but it looks like someone's primed a wheeltrim while this was still attached so has a very thin primer layer on the outside surface. It's intact, has all three prongs etc, but it's just something else in the ever expanding 'just in case' parts box lol! I'll upload a photo when I get time in case someone else is missing one.

Okay then, it doesnt sound like it is beyond saving :) Can I ask how much you would like for it, including P&P?

Thanks,

Craig

Oh no, it would be easy to restore. The only reason I haven't bothered is because I've got a pair of better ones lol! Let me dig it out tomorrow and upload a photo first before I think about a price. They're rare, I know, but I haven't seen any for sale for a while so I don't really know what the current going rate is, so I'll let you know. The scratches would be easy to sand, I do remember that, but leave it with me and I'll sort a pic tomorrow  :)

Oh by the way, the dark lines are just plasticine covering the scratches from where I took a silicone mould of it a little while ago, it's not on the plastic.

Yep, as Luke says, only this one. I don't tend to keep many spares... I think I've got a couple of battery covers, an original C5 charger, tool kit case and a few front wheels but that's pretty much it  ::)
