I have posted on hear a couple of times but not introduced myself so her goes.
In 1985 I did not take much interest in the C5 other than news reports, but I do remember driving down a road in Camden Town around 1988 on dustbin collection day and there were 3 C5's put out for the dustbin men, I was gutted that I could not take one home to tinker/play with ( I was working away from home ) since then until recently I didn't give the C5 another thought, but for some reason 8 weeks ago I bought one and now I have 2, is it normal to have a C5 bug?
Over the past few weeks I have learnt a lot by reading posts on this and other sites so thanks to everyone that has contributed, especially Lancealot for posting his solution to storing more than one C5 vertically and his advice on sourcing components to faithfully copy his design!
I am now the proud owner of the C5 racking system ( see photo below ) Just one fault with the design for me.....can you spot it?....yes I now have space for one more C5.....that's going to please her indoors
