Dan, it looks like you have been busy. How many have been back to you with numbers?
I would like to attend, with my wife a 2 kids and would like to bring 2 C5's.
would it be a Saturday and Sunday. I personally think the £10.00 is reasonable for either per person or per C5. Do you know how much the entry fee is per person to he museum.
Count me in and let's hope you can get the numbers to make this a storming event.
Regards
Mick

Entry on a normal day is £12 adult, I can't actually remember kid's rate but I think it's about £8. Show/event days vary but tend to be nearer the £15-20 entrance instead.

I think it's probably feasible, there's plenty of time to drum up interest! I'll mention, however, that the £275 is if we wanted an official 'show'... so an area for ourselves, publicity, the works. If that doesn't work out for whatever reason, we could also just arrange to go to (for example) the Autumn Spring Classic en masse. See my point? Doing it that way wouldn't get it publicised through the museum as the 30th Anniversary show, but would still be a bloody good gathering  8)

Radiomarty - That would be absolutely fantastic! I'll certainly add you to the list  ;D

How about contacting club lotus as they have a show at doninngton early in the year there is plenty of areas we could use the c5 within the site without traffic problems also the donnington collection may be pleased to see us. After all lotus were involved in the design.

Well there's no fixed date yet... some favour a summer show, some would prefer one on the actual launch date. There really are a lot of places that it could be hosted, I'm still considering at the moment whether to have it as a stand alone show or as part of something much bigger. Even if we managed to muster a record 30 C5s it still wouldn't be enough to pack a museum which is why at the moment I'm looking at the option of piggybacking a long standing show... thoughts on that?

Just a thought by does anybody think top gear might be interested? Might only be to take the  P but could be fun. I am sure the stig would like a trip in a c5. Not sure how you would go about it.

I had a similar thought... I really have a feeling that the tv will be all over the C5 in 2015...

I think top gear would just rip the piss out of both the C5 and the owners. I personally would stay far away from it if they were involved

Problem is that The Gadget Show have already covered the C5 so it's unlikely they'd be interested in doing it twice... is Fifth Gear still airing?

Quick update, I've emailed Tiff Needell's agent who replied earlier saying they'd pass the message along. No idea if there's hope etc, but I do think that most motoring shows are going to want to cover it in 2015...
