HELP Please!?!
« on: 16, November, 2013 - 21:44:48 »
Hi guys,

Been out on the C5 tonight and for no apparent reason it stopped moving.

I have noticed the following things:

The pedals aren't turning the wheels - but the chain is still moving round OK when i pedal.
And bizzarly the motor isnt moving the wheels but turning the pedals instead...

has anyone come across this before or have an idea of what may be the problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Hi there has the C5 worked right  in the past if so have you done anything to it since the problem ..It seems that the back chain cog is the wrong way round but the only way that could hapen is if it has been replaced and put on the wrong way round ..Photos will help to sort it out .....bye Chas

Hi there ok then
Hi there you may find that the left handwheel has come loose and the alloy plate has come away from the wheel  (the small pips on the wheel hold the alloy plate in place ) and if there are no washers or the nut has come loose  (as Area51 has said) it must be only about 1or 2mm play to keep it tight up against the large drive cog
Bye Chas
