G'day from Newcastle, Australia

Hey all.

Finally got around to registering on the forum.

Acquired really just  for nostalgia and a bit of fun, I picked up my C5 around 9 months ago from Sydney. A very lucky find on eBay.
A very neat example with no indicators, mirrors or horn. Came with original (very expired) battery, owners manual and even original Sinclair tyres.

It's currently the middle of summer here and I tell you Sir Clive must have been dreaming of Australia when he sketched up the C5. We've had non stop clear sunny days since before Christmas and it's been great doing some short runs in the C5 basking in the sun, (am I rubbing in in enough yet to you guys enduring a UK winter?) 8)

I've been running around on some pretty dismal gel cells which have been ordinary on speed and range but I have just put together a LiPo pack. I've got plenty of pics and will post about it when I get a chance.

See ya,
Aaron.
