new here and have a C5 to sell
« on: 05, February, 2014 - 16:39:45 »
Hi There,

We have a rare chance here for someone.

My fiancée was given a C5 for christmas when she was probably only 5.  As such she didn't ever use it and it has sat in the garage since.  With her mum moving and downsizing we now don't have anywhere to keep it so are thinking of selling it.

It has never been used, only wheeled outside a few times to have pictures taken.  the protective seals are still in place on the original battery.  It looks like it has had something sitting on it which has bent down the front fairing, i'm not sure how easy that is to fix, it also could do with a clean, the white body is a bit dirty.  It's never been started so there won't be wear and tear but i'd think it would need and overhaul.

It comes with the original delivery letter and all the manuals chargers etc..

I have some pictures here.

there can't be many this original so we were thinking £800

It's located right near Upton Upon Severn

That looks great, I'd price it at around the £700-£800 Mark myself. Should make someone pretty happy at that price.

Does anyone know if the main body can be straightened out, or even if it will relax pack into position now there is nothing resting on it?

Hi!
Although not tried it myself I have been told by another C5 owner for the exact same problem to gently heat the area with a hair drier then prop the area in the required position until it cools.
Good luck.

Hi there I have had one worse than yours and the way I do it to all that are bent is the use a piece of wood and cut  it just a bit too long then   place it between the handlebar and the pod then use an electric paint stripper over the area .But be very careful as the heat will melt the C5  so please don't get back to me if you melt it I  will not be  responsible if you damage it ... bye Chas
