Help for the C5-25 event
« on: 14, July, 2009 - 13:37:38 »
In September I'm going to start the advertising campaign for the 25th Anniversary event .
http://c5alive.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=273.0

Any budding graphic designers or arty types want to help out with a design for the advertising flyer ?

Nothing too flash, because the design needs to lend itself to being photocopied (to keep costs down).

Something fairly basic, but eye-catching ,that conveys the necessary info.

No payment available, but I could rustle up a free t-shirt if your design is chosen.

Preferred size is "A5"

Hi Karl,
Long time no speak. I am here and am good for stickers when you need them.
Here is my design.

I know its a bit big and bright, but I do have a plan. I can print these professionally, up to A3 colour.
I can do 500 for £10.00. Not trying to make money, but to cover the cost of inks etc.
I can do this for any other design as well.
Thanks
Mark

wow, I am impressed guys ! There are some really good efforts there  8)

I'll give it a little while longer, then maybe we could put it to a vote to decide which one to use.

...must admit I didn't notice the dates were wrong  :o ,so I think I'll play the "I'm on nights and really tired" card  ;D ..

Seriously, these are really impressive - perhaps the answer will be to use them all ? Or should we just vote on which one we prefer..

Either way, thanks for making the effort and showing your support for the event.  8)

I thought after posting my first attempt that it would be better to use pictures of adverts along the bottom instead, is it better ? It would still need someone to tidy it up a bit and re-size where needed.
