« on: 14, June, 2011 - 19:58:26 »
Hi just picked up a C5 and as you can see it's had a hard life (Just like me) .The body has a split  on the front .Take a look  at photo's also take a look at the back brake you will see that someone has put it on top of the frame .Anyway I don't think I will be restoring this one the body is to far gone .But I will end up with some usefull spares .And use them with another body
Photo's to follow

Hi Chas,

You do seem to pickup some badly cared for C5's, but like normal you will have it looking like new.

Hope to see more photos

Chas looking at that body and it being the base could you not get it "plastic welded", Quite a lot of places and mobile car sprayers do it for bumpers, etc

Hi Chas. Have you by any chance got a spare plastic ring that is rivetted to the bulkhead just forward of the motor. I presume its for the battery retention strap;that what I used mine for anyway but it has snapped recently.
