EV charging points
« on: 03, March, 2012 - 21:52:49 »
Just asking out of curiosity, am I right in thinking these are classed as an EV and therefore could be charged at the various EV charging points around the country? Assuming the point accepts a 3-pin wall plug like the one below.

In all honesty I dont know , it might be worth checking with the "service provider" to see what their response is ?

I will look further into this, would be useful for me when going into town etc. Would only have to haul one battery around.

The nearest one to me has a 13a standard outlet!

Hence my question. If it's a normal 13a domestic socket would a Sinclair be OK for charging/what do the company have to say about it  Either way, I'm sure Comet wouldn't mind having a Sinclair charging outside, that would make a great 25 years later shot.

Now I learn this! The carpark across the road from me has a EV charge point and now we;re moving!

Good to know though - worth taking a battery charger in with me

Some of the stations are free but for the paid ones you can buy a swipe card - £10 a month - and you get as many charges as you want for the £10.
