Post by: Karl on 16, August, 2009 - 00:05:42
At last, following some major transplant surgery , "Dave" is back on the road  ;D ;

Here's a piccie of Steve road testing "Dave" ;

I've used a replacement chassis from another damaged C5 - it's not perfect but much better than the one I've removed.

All cleaned up and ready for the road once more  8) ;)

What do you mean by 'transplant surgery'  was it not a chassis bend back jobbie ?

Good to see Dave back on the road - great to see Steve in the driving seat !!! - It looks like you did it all in a day -better not tell the wife or she will question my hours of tinkering.

Its good to see Dave back on the road where he should be, great idea Karl getting Steve to be the test pilot, you cant be to careful, but I have no worries that all would have not gone well  :D

Nope - I had a spare chassis so fitted that instead, not yet sure if the damaged chassis can be properly straightened .  :-\
