Title: Forum will be down for a short time
Post by: thedesigntailor on 06, February, 2012 - 16:33:41: Just to let you guys know that the forum will be down for a short time tomorrow.

Won't be long depending on how fast our internet connection is running tomorrow. But just so you don't get worried when you come here. Will try and have it back up for the evening.

Also I am very good at importing / transfering data if you were looking at changing forum software and want to preserve everything in a new format.

Liam has done lots of forums but the guy who is doing most of the work, TJ hasn't done a forum before.

We're moving to PHPBB which should be a bit more stable and easier to use but the shop and site will be custom.

Ah good. is there a converter for SMF -> PHPBB?

I've never had major success with either but I am good at doing the import myself.

you know me so well ;D I love the new look of the forum, makes everything seem a lot more up to date .

I'm still having to push F5 on my keyboard to get the forum displayed though, is this something on the fix list for the new site ?

Now you see if you had an apple computer the spell check is built into the os.

Hi Guys - anyone else experiencing this? Looks fine on all browsers on my mac but will test on some PCs at work.

Chas - what browser you using mate?
