Hi  I Have just  left a very wet Ardingly and some not very happy c5er's Karl,scott,steve and Scott's mate les.  I came home as I wasn't staying the night - lets hope they don't get washed away during the night.  Hopefully a visit to the beer tent will help. :'(  I am going back tomorrow - let's just hope it is sunny.

As Angie said, Saturday was a bit wet and miserable weather wise - but a lot of people still made the effort to come along to the show. We had a lot of interest in the C5's on display, and the mini-el again proved popular.

This was the first year we camped over night which was an excellent decision. The beer tent had a superb live band playing , as well as the huge selection of CAMRA beers.  Top night  8) ;D

Some piccies from the day;

Same as last year , the mini-el was invited to take part in the main arena display.  This year was different because we included three c5's  8)

Sunday was the best day weather wise, which meant bigger crowds and more interest in the C5's - as usual most of us where too busy to take many piccies  :P

But we did "convert" a few people by allowing them to sit in a C5 and see for themselves how good the ergonomics are  :)

With a bit of luck a few more people will be coming to see us at Brooklands in September, and again in January next year.

It was great to see Ray make the journey from Norfolk to join us on the Sunday.

I think we made some new friends this weekend, some good contacts and renewed some friendships established last year.

A really good weekend , plus the beer tent was fab !

Sums up the weekend nicely  :D ;D :P

Look forward to meeting you  :), Ray has told us all about you  ;)

On a different note, mustn't forget a big shout out to the cadets from TS Cossack .

They worked hard over the weekend helping the smooth running of the event.

Glad they enjoyed their small reward of a few rides in a C5  8)

Cheers mate, it was a bit wet and windy to start with, but it all came good in the end .

Scott and Les are superb drinking buddies , they kept us all in tears of laughter all night ;D

Steve was ,as always, a great help by getting the Dial-a-ride bus to help transport the c5's and exhibition stuff.

Couldn't have done it without him .

Looking forward to next years show now !

Angie spotted some piccies of my mini-el and some c5's on the 2009 review section of the Ardingly website;

Nice to see we've made it onto their site this year  8)
