Title: Was Sir Clive left handed?
Post by: TRminator on 05, October, 2010 - 20:15:26
Question:  Was Sir Clive left handed?
I can't think of any other reason why the accelerator button is on the left hand side of a C5.  I've transfered mine over.  My left thumb was getting dumb pretty quickly.

No, it is to keep your right hand free so when those chavs drive past shouting some bo**ox to you, you can give them the finger . ;D

LOL, I liked that one, but I reckon its so you can hand signals (just in case someone really did want to know the real reason)...

Since we drive on the right side of the street, over here in the rest of the world, Sir Clive decided you could give the finger to pedestrians  ;D

when i collected the yellow C5, which has an early 24v conversion, the 'throttle' was mounted on the right hand side, and you pushed it forward  ??? ???

bars were adjusted so they collided with the seat when turned restricting turning.

i've swapped over the throttle and adjusted the bars properly now  ;)
