Dear All

Thanks ever so for the warm welcome & I'm very much looking forward to getting my own C5 after all these years & missing out as teenager on such a funky mode of transport.

I'm really hoping to visit Karl & Chris & check out the machine's they have up for sale at the moment & hopefully one of them will be suitable for me.

Thanks Andy & Lance for also giving me some pointers.

I agree that finding & restoring your own machine must be super rewarding & teaches you the do's and don'ts I guess. Alas I live in a small shared house in zone 2 just outside central London & have no workshop space for such an undertaking right now. Although finding a reliable C5 for use would hopefully teach me all I need to know & could always borrow Dad's garage back in Merthyr if I'm bitten by the bug! As it is I'll have to buy a shed to store any NEW purchase in. My housemate might not take too kindly to C5 in the Lounge or Kitchen for too long!
