hi, does anyone know the rpm of the left wheel (motor side) when the motor is running under no strain?
thanks :)

I just worked it out at 16" @ 15mph = 78.782 rpm . :P Im knackered , so I may have worked it out wrong. Will double check later. Can I ask... Why ??? Other c5's will be different to one an other due to motor condition though. reet, am off ta bed.

thanks! i knew there was a way to calculate it but couldn't remember
why i want to know:
well, i live in quite a hilly area and seeing as i have 4, bosch 400w motors lying around i'm currently playing around with the idea of making a high torque c5 with the same speed as the original c5. using a metal gearbox and metal drive cog. also incorporating disk brakes, reinforced chassis (tempted to use some of my 5mm HARDOX 450 ;D :D) , and use a 4qd to control the motor (maybe a relay if i'm too poor as i have one lying around and i can get them for about 30p ;D). anyway i needed to know so i can work out what ratio to make the gearbox and timing belt.
tired now so i'm off to bed :)

250W is the maximum legally allowed for use with the C5.400w renders it illegal for road use. I live in a hilly area and use the 375 watts or so of leg power to assst the motor in going up hills.

I use my 2ltr engine in my car to do the hills lol ;D

just an idea at the moment :)
