Hi, Ive always wanted a C5 since they were new but my dad thouht they were dagerous! as if !
well, i currently cant drive or ride a bike through ill health but i cant fall off a C5 and i dont need a driving licence for one!

The aim is to buy something cheaply and look at upgrading the speed with either a 24v kit or a new motor/controller setup and new drive system. I dont need to travel  any distance, 5 or 6 mles tops.

This needs to be a budget conversion as i currently have all my cash tied up in cars i cant drive.....

Any help or advice greatly appreciated,

Thanks

Gary

Hiya mate and welcome to the forum.

"Cheap" C5's are not impossible to find, some people here have had some really lucky finds but do be careful ! Some of the rare parts for C5's can be eye wateringly expensive leaving you spending more on a "bad" C5 than you would restoring a car  :o

Buy a good one though and you will find yourself in  whole new world of fun  ;D
