Here I have made up a set of items to enable you to make yourself a Disc brake for the back wheel
What you get is all new items ,,, A disc + caliper + screws + axle bearing and the alloy base to fit the disc on ..
But you will have to fit it yourself ...

How much?
-
Hi there cost would be £70.00+pp at the moment I have only had 2 made up ..
-
Nice work :) Just what I could do with.
I assume these need the metal base plate like you usually use? Will have to see if I can get a plate cut to size and then order one if I can sneak it past SWMBO!

Hi there only one left at the moment ...If anyone else wants one please let me know and I will get some more made up ...
-
Would love one of these, braking is crap on the old uns. £70's quite pricey but then I'm not sure how much standard brake ones are as a comparison.
Can you show the fitting process?
-
I was going to order one, but it seems Ive lost so much weight over the last 3 months that I've had to spend the cash buying new clothes :(
-
Chas, I noticed the eBay listing says that you don't need the alloy plate - how do you fit it without the plate? Without the plate, I could possibly afford one.
Cheers

Hi there .The alloy plate is not incleded in the sale ...Regarding fitting the brake caliper you would have to have a bracket welded on to the frame ..
-
I knew it wasn't included, just wondered how to fit without one, as the eBay listing says you don't need it :)
I think you just answered that anyway, so I'll see if there's anyone around that can weld, and if so I will order - would be great to be able to stop going downhill :D
