Just a quick Hello
« on: 06, October, 2009 - 20:02:20 »
Just wanted to say hello.
Have recently purchased two c5s in a varying state of repair and am hoping to get at least one of them up and running again and maybe mod the other ( one of them is green and has no front wheel)

I have recently returned from Swindon with my second one ( I have been told I am not allowed to get another one until one of these has gone) but am really enjoying being a new C5er.

I run an 80s night in York , Leeds and Whitby and have always loved everything 80s and am so proud to be a c5 owner.

will be having a look round to get some information about the battery in particular as the one in good condition has apparently got a working motor but no pod but does have a control box. so any help or suggestions would be gratefully received

cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the forum :) - I'm sure you can get all the help you need from here.  karl and Martin know the most about C5's - they helped me fix mine.

I still love the 80's too - good times !
Untill you get a chance to talk to one of them you could take a look here
http://c5alive.co.uk/downloads2.htm

It has manuals and diagrams that may be of help to you.

Regards

Ian

Hi Chris!
I'm glad to see that you've got a C5. By any chance did you make me an offer for mine in July??
