Hi just found these old hand made front wheel covers as you can see not a very good job but a lot of room for improvement ...Also painted in black why ?????????

i think they may be proto types, perhaps after a mould was made from original shel and this is perhaps the 1st cast?

Yes you are right but I think it may have been Mark the old owner of C5ALIVE ???? That had them made ......I did send a back wheel and centre cap to a member some while ago for him to have a go at making some fibreglass trims but up to now no more contact ...

It might well be, or similiar too a early prototype I reckon it must have been really interesting working on the early development of the C5 making components, changing them and improving them untill the finished product.  :)
