Title: 16th & 17th June '12 : Brooklands Museum Double 12 event

We've been invited back to the famous Brooklands Double 12 event ;

..a celebration of the two 12hr races historically held at the Brooklands race track , this event is a really good family fun day out with something to keep the family amused while all the petrol heads amongst us get to enjoy the am,azing machinery on display and beimng driven about.

I've left this one a bit late, but not too late  :P

We have the option of a club stand at this event that I propose we attend on the Sunday. ElectricDave will be there with the c-5000 making another run up Test Hill.

Any c5alive forum members want to come along and help make up a c5 display ? Please let me know asap as I need to forward the application to Brooklands very soon !

The tickets arrived today and I have a few spares , so if anyone does want to bring their c5 along let me know asap  :)

the weather forecast isnt great for this event  :( however , Brooklands is a bit like the Morgan owners club - they never let the poor weather get the better of them so I'll still be going along  ;)

If anyone wants to tag along let me know asap as I still have a few tickets left.

Good news at last the weather forecast has improved for Sunday so happy with that.

This year it will be myself, Angie and electricDave on the c5alive stand. I've now retired "Challenger" from hill climb events so it will be on display only. The c-5000 will be making an ascent of Test Hill so we should see the crowds cheering electricDave  8).

Some special vehicles are scheduled to appear at Brooklands this weekend so lots to look forward to  :)

wow , what a day - I'll upload a few piccies later , but suffice to say Brooklands excelled themselves this year with an amazing event . Far more to see and do than ever before. I'm shattered , but in the best possible way  :)

I've seen a few pics from this event on the Retro Rides forum ( sadly none of C5's ) and it looks like there was some amazing machines there. Looking forward to seeing all your photos  :)
