just a little update

I've now managed to get a boot from BooBoo, so I thought it would be worth my while getting bits and bobs that will aid my travels and experiences on my C5

First of all I now have a eye strainingly bright hi-vis jacket so people cant say 'I didnt see you' when im out and about:

Secondly I got myself a puncture repair kit (I know this isn't necessary due to the schwalbe tires being puncture proof but got it just in case):

And I also got myself a new buzzer for the horn system, its a soundbomb!, and soundbomb it is too!. Its rated @ 110db and its stupidly loud!:

Continued........

I also bought a second battery of the same model number ready for the crawley run as I know that one battery wont be enough for the whole 10+ mile rout

I took it out with one battery hooked up and the other in the spare holder in the C5 and I can peddle and motor around easily, ideally one day I would like them to be both hooked up to get more mileage instead of swapping out the batteries half way through a journey

I got the second as a precaution, I hope 1 battery will last most of the journey at least :)

As a guide, from previous runs we've found that the Crawley run will use two basic car batteries or just the one leisure battery. We normally change over the batteries at the half-way point in Tilgate Forest.

As always, it all depends on how healthy the battery is, how well set up the c5 is and how much peddling you're prepared to do.

Hey all

I managed to buy some Grey side panels from POZE, to my surprise he was about 23 minuets drive away from me so tonight I went to go pick 'em up and have a C5 chat and tour of his collection. I was very very impressed  ;D

ok so the Side panels were unopened (opened once to take photo for ebay) and were old factory stock and therefore they weren't in the usual shop packaging but in a zipper bag: below are some pics:

(pics showing panels fitted)

(pic showing the QA badge and the finishers signature / initials )

All in all I am very happy with them. I am keeping all the packaging and parts from them and I will keep them in good condition so that they last for a long time

Just checked the met office and its sunny where I am tomorrow. I am going to attempt to "C5 it in" to work as a test run for the crawley meeting this weekend :)
