Any more news on this  ?  :)

I still intend t go along and put up a c5alive display.

No further news from the guys running the event as yet, but not worried about that as the event is still a while away.

I'll start chasing it up at the end of this month.

Just to bump this up a bit, remember this is on in a few weeks time! We're bringing 2, who else is in?

I still plan to go to this and set up a similar display to the one we set up for Ardingly

I've today emailed the event organiser (Tom) to confirm that I would like to reserve a club display are for at least six Sinclair C5's .

If you want to include your own c5 in this display let me know here asap so I can update Tom with the expected numbers.

Unusually for a c5alive display , there are no free tickets so you will need to buy your own either in advance or on the day.

Put me down for this, hope to be bringing two C5s but at least one if things don't go to plan.

That's great John! Right, well there's a guy on the Facebook page saying he's definately bringing 2+ so so far it looks to be a minimum of 6 plus Karl's :-)

Not been there in a while myself, open to suggestions ?

There should be a space reserved for us so I'm thinking first of us that gets there should "bagsy" the space asap to make sure it isn't gobbled up by other clubs  :)

That's a good plan, there's a huge car park right by the entrance, be warned, it's gravel so may not be the most comfortable ride, but I like the sound of a 'bagsy'. Is it worth exchanging phone numbers between those who are coming to keep each other updated about whereabouts etc? I've just got a horrible feeling we could end up with two locations lol!

I haven't been to Beaulieu for 25 years, I would like to pay it a visit again sometime. Look forward to seeing the pictures of the day and see what displays I remember  :)

Retro Andy.

I've just read something on the Beaulieu site that's quite interesting, let me copy/paste...

Vehicle Entry

Entry into the Beaulieu Parkland with your classic vehicle is from 9.30am – the Brabazon Restaurant will be open for bacon rolls, cakes, teas and coffee.

Please note that if you wish to park alongside your friends, or fellow club members, you must arrive together as there will be no designated areas available.

--------------

This would suggest that the only way of getting the C5's together will be by doing a car park meet up first, if entry is from half 9 should we plan a half 9 meet?
