My slice of the ocean
« on: 09, April, 2009 - 08:04:52 »
Hi gang,

As well as being an active C5'er I also love to homebrew, compute & have a raging interest in home aquatics.  Starting up again after nearly a 20 year break at the age  of 38 I bought myself a Tropical System, at 39 a small nano marine reef and at 40 (may last year) a full blown 100Gallon job.

I'm still learning like crazy as there is always something new to learn (and buy) lol, and with Homebrewing and messing about with bits and bytes I am quite a busy guy.

Anyhoo I made a video and posted it on youtube, they did not like the music and so I have had to do an audioswap (which is pending).  I'll post some system specs here if anyone is interested - if not hey no worries as it saves me typing - lol

Video can be found here :- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVhbRRy7-hE

regards

Ian

That set-up is on a way different level to my Bio-Orb thingy  :D

Really impressive mate .

You mentioning homebrew brings back some great memories....during my time in the Navy one of the lads was lucky enough to have a wife who was superb at making some decent ale. Happy days !
