Will be in England for a conference that week and am looking forward to my 1st C5 run. Being from the US, I might need to be reminded to ride on the correct side of the road. See you all in November!

On Saturday and Sunday Dereham Railway Station will be holding a small event, celebrating 50 years since the station closed as a main line station.
They have asked me to pop down at some time during those days, with my Zodiac,to park outside, for this event.
If you drive past and see it there, pop in and say hello.
-
I'll keep an eye out for you both.

Would I be welcome if I don't yet have a c5? Having never seen or used one before I would really like to have a look and maybe have a go.
Just wonder what kind of distance the drive is?
I do have a 2008 equivalent, made mostly from CFRP.
-
You'll have to post a picture of that.

You're most welcome to pop along and have a chat , the runs usually last about 12-15 miles or so with a pub break half way :)

The Norfolk run is taking place on the same day as the Watton festival, and I am hoping we may have time to show the C5s in the town center.
I know they will generate a lot of interest.
-
It was fun when we invaded the festival last year, apart from being overtaken by the remote control toy cars, but then I did manage to overtake a old lady in a fiesta which was really fun :D hope to have some more laughs this time.

Just to get an idea of numbers , who's up for this run ?
Angie and I will be there, plus Ray and his friend - so that will be at least 4 c5's on the road , any others ?
-
Hopefully i'll be there
-
I'm hoping to come along ;D
Not been on an actual run with you guys yet, and this looks like it's quite a nice one ... even if it is cold and wet :D :D

May I be the first to thank Ray for another fantastic day, the run today was great fun, it was nice to meet everyone again and have some laughs, shame Daz could'nt come along as we see a woman dressed in purple with purple hair, I'm sure she would have loved your C5. Many thanks again to Ray and Silvia, see you all at Brooklands in January.

A big thank you to Ray for a great run and hospitality. A most eventful run - I can still hear Karl's laugh as Umpa's brake failed.Flat tyre's and batteries - my legs still ache (thanks Karl for bailing me out) It was all great fun and I look forward to the next one - Andy you forgot to mention her purple pushchair and kids!!!
-
Cheers Ray for being the perfect host mate, especially for the teas/coffee/hot sausage rolls and also for standing a round in the pub that included two large baskets of chips - top job ;D
It was good to see you booked a nice dry day as well 8)
Another excellent meeting with some real laughs, exactly how it should be ;)
I'll sort out some piccies soon...
-
Hi guys,
A top notch run, many thanx to ray for putting it on and being a fantastic host.
Video coming soon, watch this space !!
On a side note, our tomtom took us miles out of our way and into a traffic jam on the A11, I have no idea why it made us go that way lol.
-
Traffic was a bit grim, took us ages to get home - passed two accidents, a lane closure to recover a broken down motorbike, numerous roadworks with speed restrictions and some real heavy rain..
Still, all worth it for what turned out to be a great weekend ;D
Here are a few piccies ;
