Well...
I found an Oxford Maximiser on Amazon for just under £20 with postage, so I thought why on earth not. I'll let you know how I get on with it!

Unfortunately, the supplier listed on there called me to say that they don't actually do that product and some Amazon failure made it say they do. So they didn't charge me. That's a shame because it's a very cheap price. I guess it was too good to be true...

Maybe I'll just buy one new somewhere... I've seen them for a shade under £40

the Oxford trickle charger/conditioner is a long time highly respected bit of kit among PTW riders who park there bikes for long periods during winter  :)

i'd suggest have a look at the solar panel type if you leaving batts away from power source
