 ;) Hi I have posted this on chat but then I found tech stuff so adding it here also,
The belt on the wheel & motor keeps coming off if the wheels are on the ground, if you remove pressure it stays on, we have two c 5's and this happens on both, our 10 year old is driving us mad, we have had one working fine  but know its playing up and we do not understand please help , thanks Lynne

As per this thread ---> http://c5alive.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=180.0 , belt slip can be due to a number of things. Start with the cheapest and most obvious things first and then work your way through the problem. For example ;

Is the belt worn ? http://c5alive.co.uk/ecommerce/index.php?cPath=12_11&osCsid=46edc6336da6429850c65d8dce134572
Is the gearbox sitting on the "wall" properly - does it have a mod bracket fitted ? http://c5alive.co.uk/ecommerce/product_info.php?cPath=19&products_id=193&osCsid=46edc6336da6429850c65d8dce134572
Is the motor mounted securely (any movement)  ?
Is the drive wheel emerging from the gearbox worn ? (sadly this bit can be expensive  :-[)

Takes a bit of trial and error, but once sorted your belt will not slip - it isnt something that you have to put up with  :)

Hi motor secure and no wear on the belt or motor, Bradster had been using it for half and hour stopped to let motor cool as bleeper sounding when he went back out, funny noise first then the belt came off, we do not have one of those strange mod things how would that work? we have a second sinclair that we had not tried until today found a fuse blown then tried it and the same thing the belt comes off. If you lift the wheel up off the floor it runs lovely.  Brad is six stone not heavy. We have other spare parts and have changed cog belts etc and the same is still happening please help, bradster driving us mad he has the bug for them now and nothing else will do. thanks Lynne
