Best type of battery replacement?
« on: 29, January, 2011 - 15:59:59 »
Hello everyone

Ive just bought a c5 on eBay in quite good condition (It came from a museum on the Isle of Wight apparently) , however the battery is missing, the seller stated he tested all the electronics using a 12v car battery and said it all worked 100% (I hear this is a bad thing to do as the batteries can fry the electronics  :o )

Anyway I was wondering what type and make of batteries are best to fit in the c5

Also I would like to know the best way to charge the batteries as the C5 I bought doesn't come with a charger of any kind

Most people run with the C5 Alive wiring loom with quick release connections and a normal car battery.

If you buy the kit from the shop side then it comes will full instructions (including pictures). The info on the download section is for an earlier version of the kit that still works but is not as good  ;)
