Title: Uni 8 wanted

Hi
I am looking for a 24volt conversion for my C5, I am told I need a Uni 8.
If anyone has one for sale then please email me at no2jackson@aol.com with your price. Thanks for the emails over my last ad for a headlight,they are still coming in. I will answer all the emails this weekend and decided on which unit to buy. Thanks again, great site.

There are a few models on there, which one suits the c5 and does it come with a twist grip control

Hi there Mick you will need a UNI 8 (24 volt) also a twist grip and the case and the and wiring ..Then you will need a powerful fan ..On ebay about £20.00 Also you will need to make the wiring harness up ...
But be aware As you know the C5 will run on 24 volt but depending on a few things ...First of all you have to consider the extra weight of the Batteries the weight on the driver and how it is used. The biggest problem is the motor and the gearbox overheating you must use it carefully and don't  go full throttle for long periods . I do have a post on the site somewhere I will see if I can find it and get back to you
