mobility batteries

Having looked at a 38Ah Yuasa mobility battery(12.2Kgs) that has threaded holes in the treminals, I was wondering whether screwing aluminium strips to them and then bolting those the strips onto the Sinclair battery lid using all the existing holes would permit succesful use of this type of battery and the Sinclair keyswitch. Has anyone done this before? Naturally I would make up a new webbing harness to restrain the battery, especially as this type of battery has no lip at the bottom for the clamp fitted to the C5

Well I haven't used that battery, but I have used some big gell. Batteries out of an emergency lighting system. These had the threaded conectors you mention. I used some machine screws from wilcos and fitted a modified Sinclair battery top. This worked very well. Hope this helps.
