C5 STORAGE
« on: 23, September, 2009 - 16:11:31 »
Hi All .....

I have been using one of these for just over 12 months, its a perfect fit for the c5 and room for more.

I built a small platform for mine with old railway sleepers an put some decking onto it to keep it off the ground and so far so good, keeps it nice dry in the winter.

I found this on e bay but they can be found by searching for "bike cave" or "tidy tent"

They go for about 30 quid, its worth having a look round first as some are as much as 50 quid for the same item and some are less.

Some good piccies on your album, that's quite possibly the best photo of my mini-el I've seen for quite a while.

Like the look of the tent, seems to do the job for not a lot of pennies  ;)

Hi Plod,

Its just a plank of plywood with some batterns running along so it does not bow.  Turns out there is a plastic lip designed for a shelf with hols for screws etc.  It also has a ramp so you can push the C5 on the top floor (even with battery in).  I was going to do the same as you, but thought this would be dryer.
