Title: Side Panel Fitting
Post by: pso-buzz on 22, February, 2013 - 13:19:33
So the side panels!

It says mark a line 20mm from the edge then for the Velcro to that line.  Which side of the line should it be fitted? If you fit it to the outside of the line this leaves the Velcro pretty much flush with the edge, and if you fit it on the other side it is obviously 20mm inside.

The black plastic toggle thing that fits though the pod, does this go in from the front or the rear?

Thanks

Simon

Are you sure they're fitted correctly? I have always put my clips in from the front of the POD.

Why won't it reach. I thought the elastic would allow it to move a bit

I pull and pull on them to try and get them to but they won't.

Are these original C5 side panels? If so is it possible that over the years the material has shrunk and/or lost some of its elasticity? So now doesn't fit properly.

I think that is what has happened
