The C5's eqivalent of a roof rack
« on: 17, February, 2012 - 19:57:08 »
Have just built myself a boot rack to go on the back of my C5. Using it everyday it would have come in handy several times in the past already, so no doubt will in the near future. It is a adapted bicycle luggage rack (one of the ones that go above the rear wheel). A little bit of bending and twisting saw it adapted to fit my C5. It just slides into the top pipes, and has soft pads stuck onto the part that touches the boot so it doesn't damage it. What do you think?

That will be one of the uses. My school bag fits fine in the boot but if I have to take my PE stuff the only place I can get them into is the right hand side footwell.

Went to school with my bags on it today and it works very well. I have strapped it down at the back to the rear hoop to stop it popping off over bumps.
