my project finished for the horsham run.

here are the finished pictures although i cant decide on the side trims yet ??? this project was tough  from start to finish but well worth doing :o perhaps a 24v one next.

so ladies and gents here she is in rover trophey blue   the bluebird 85

thanks mate, had a mare with the chain,front brake and then the pod would not light up but its all good now ;D ive put the battery on charge  but the charger ive got is older and zx80 ha ha so lets hope it does the job  otherwise i wlll have to pedal 14 miles  :o see u at martins in the morning .

That looks nice Scott, hope you have great fun today, your jaw will hurt buy the end of the day with having a great big smile on your face all day long. Finished in that blue and the with that front decal, called it blubird 85 is prefect, try not to get any speeding tickets though.
Are you bringing it along to the 25th anniversary, its being held in the bluebird function room.

yes mate i have, the only problem  now is the steering  i had to strip it all down again  when i had trouble getting the handle bar stem out and back in again the force i had to use bent the frame in half an inch so that means ive got to knock it back in to shape and i now need to source a replacement stem as well  so im at the end of teather with it at the moment i dont think it wants to go back on the road   :-\ ha ha  thanks for asking umpa  is yours going ok ?

Stick with it Scott, on ebay there was a part chassis and I bet Karl has one somewhere.

Mines OK, I'm about to go to work on it (Afters) and its an awesome day.

So was the problem with the brushes ?
