Hello All,

I am a researcher at Aardman working on a new prime-time BBC One inventions series, featuring the multiple-Oscar winning Wallace & Gromit.

We are hoping to film with Sir Clive in a report on the legendary Sinclair C5, and are looking for working models to feature in the film.

We would be very grateful if any of you would be willing to loan your vehicles to us for a filming day over the next few months.

I look forward to hearing from you. My contact details are below.

Many thanks.

I'll give you a call later this afternoon Rob.

We have a c5 called "Dave" (yes - they are named..) which I loan out for just this type of event.

"Dave" was loaned to Chris Barrie for his "Britains Greatest Machines" series as well as appearing on BBC4's "electric dreams". "Dave" is due back from a school project later this week and can be reserved for your filming needs :)

I've had a reply and it looks like this project is still in the planning stages, here's an extract from the email ;

We are still unsure about definite decisions regarding filming schedules but I doubt we’d want to use the C5s before the end of May / early June.

It’s great to know that you are willing to help out with your C5s for Wallace and Gromit!

We’ll be in touch again soon with some more definite details.

I'd love to be involved with this - Wallace & Gromit are my fav's  8)

Some more news via email;

The series is moving on well here, with the Sinclair item well on its way.

I'll post some further updates when I know more  ;)
