Thanks Ray for a great Norfolk run, i had  a good laugh again, it was a good turn out and the weather could have been a a lot worse. here are the pictures i took, as you will the the "Citroen Berlingo" is the ideal transportation for a C5 with built in smart navigation its a great little van (sponsored by Alan Bartrum @ Co-operative motor group, Kings Lynn tel 01553 770144)

Hope you dont mind the small plug of the van Karl .

Good set of piccies there matie  ;) and that C5 fits well into the fantastic ,and reasonably priced, Berlingo  ;D

I told you Wizbat was quick - check out the blurred photo of him changing that inner tube  8)

Ray has sent me a couple of piccies to put on here, plus I need to download my camera .

As an aside, I'm still impressed with my cheapie "Drivemaster" batteries - they managed to do this entire run  8)

Thanks guys for letting me tag along.
Had a great time.
Thanks to Jason (Red Feather) for loaning me his C5 whilst he piloted the Upmobile.
13 miles and not much pedalling.
I had a nice reliable C5, which covered 10 miles before the battery gave out.
A fresh battery saw the last 3 miles covered.
The rain was on/off all day, but it was good fun.
8 C5s in a line running around Watton Norfolk.
A few pit stops to change batteries, repair a puncture & let the electric motors cool down.

Pictures . . .

Paul - some cool piccies there mate , specially liked the "on the move" shots . Now you've had a taster ,hopefully you'll pop up on a few more meetings . It's always great to see some more new faces joining in  :).

Tom - you've got to go for it mate , the meetings are what this forum is all about. Using our C5's so that everyone gets to see us enjoy them , and not just view them sat in museums  etc  8)

Its just a shame we did'nt get the over taking of that car on film (no not a parked car, it was driving on the same road as us, just not quick enough for us !)

Thanks to everyone for coming along.Perhaps we could do this run in the summer some time,I am sure you would enjoy it more in the sunshine, hehehe.
Thanks also to Jason for taking my Ubmobile on its first refurbished run.
I still cant believe it made it with no problems!
Looking forwards to the next event.

Hi All!
Had a real laugh last sunday! even tho, that blasted chain tensioner still tried to fall off again and the tyre!! Man! I suprised myself with that one!!.
I,m thinking about making a couple of lightweight supports that you can hang onto the side of the c5 and then roll it onto its side without the body and mirrors touching the ground.
And that will fit in the boot.
Should make roadside maintenance a doddle.
