Road lights

Could anyone advise on some easy fit road bike lights particularly to the front, do the LED replacement ones from the C5 shop give a brighter light or just save battery power and is there super powerful LED ones available . Id prefer to just use the current set up but they arent very powerful in the dark, good to be seen but not too good to see ! thanks

The ones from the shop are defiantly brighter, I'm not sure about the power consumption though

Problem with a lot of LED replacements is that they are not as focused as a simple filament lamp. I have inserted two LED replacements from a local automotive shop and although they are pretty bright, the front light just produces a 'haze' of light and not a sharply defined beam. Visibility of the road is just enough to not bump into the curb but potholes are hardly recognizable. For the rear light however they are perfect.
I would recommend getting a LED replacement with as few LED's as possible: the more LED's, the less focus..
