I received this invite via email;

Dear Karl / C5 Alive

After seeing your display at Ecovelocity, one of our members has suggested
that you may be interested in attending our Octoberfest event on 29th
October.  We would be delighted to see you at the event.  Fortunately the
venue is a school with plenty of room / parking areas / etc, so should be
suitable for a C5 or two!

To give you some more details, we'd like to invite you to take part in a
festival celebrating local food, renewable energy and sustainable living.
Octoberfest will be held on Saturday 29 October from 10am to 2pm, at
Downlands Community School, Hassocks.  Our HKD Transition group is taking a
lead in organising Octoberfest, working with other community groups and the
school.

More details are attached.

We hope that your organisation will want to take part to promote energy
alternatives and sustainability to a wide audience.  If you'd like any
further information please do get in touch with me.

Best wishes

John Willis

Quite an unusual type of event for c5alive to be invited to, but it all sounds good ;D

I'll let you know how we get on  8)

We made an appearance at this local Octoberfest event yesterday (Saturday 29th);

..it made a nice change to be inside with a c5 display and this was quite an unusual event for us to be included in . We had a lot of interest in the c5's though so it was well worth attending, I think the c5's were more exciting to the younger visitors than organic veg and solar panels  8)

I did have a laugh in the school playground on Voodoo..much to the amusement of some passersby who could be heard saying look at that go  ;D
