Leisure batteries might be a tad heavy, especially as you need two.

Voodoo runs on two Type 063 car batteries which are a bit lighter and still give enough oomph  ;)

With the power setting low, and basically treating it like a 12v , I have managed all the meetings so far on a single set of batteries.

The runs are usually between 10-12miles.

Have you managed to take this out on a proper run yet Chas ? If so, how did it go ?

Just for a bit of clarity here Chas - Karl has been known to wind the throttle back on a few occasions  - lol

I was  not very pleased with the last c5 with the 900 watt motor only got 19 miles an hour out of it and it got very hot despite the fan on all the time .
So I will be taking the motor out and replacing with the metal gearbox motor and test it out on 24 volts ..
