So is that a yes on the selling front? I want a 24V so badly but get stuck inflating the tyres so really want one done by a pro.  8)

Looks blooming amazing - Will the plate metal keep some of the heat in that area do think? Would drilling holes make it lighter and aid ventilation?

Wouldn't look as wicked though.

Got told my C5 was both 'Sick mate!' as well as 'proper job' today!

Hi there the only thing I can say is that the speed controller now has a greater area to dissipate the heat as well as the fan cooling it down , but if as you say drilling holes in the aluminum plate may cool it better only time will tell ..

Bit like the aluminium body MacBook Pro's - hardly needs the fan because the body dissipates the heat.

Looking good Chas  :)
Quite fancy a 24v one day, and wouldn't trust my skills to do it myself, so will have to keep checking back and see how this progress's.

Thanks ...Done as much as I can at the moment on the frame just waiting for the pulleys for the motor to arrive and then I will have them bored out to the right size to fit on the motor

So I will now I will start on upgrading the front wheel ,It will be metal and  have  disc brakes ...

Here is the front wheel upgraded to metal and the disc fitted , and the caliper ready to be welded to the forks   .As you may see there is some damage to the forks due to opening them out but I will fill in the dents before painting them
