Been looking at these whilst looking at a front hub drive . good idea if can be fitted, 900mm ?

That kit weighs as much as a C5 complete with battery.

I think powering the front wheel might be unsuccessful. The weight distribution on the c5 is well weighted towards the rear axle, so you might find it skidding a lot in the wet or when going up a hill.

This one looks quite interesting, it would even be road legal in the UK

Hi John. not really true on that. The c5 has been done a few times with a front brushless motor and they seem to run good. An earlier one on the forum :

I have seen and tried a 24v Crystalyte brushless front wheel that went well. 14mph though, but a good try. As to weight balance,someone who was there on the day asked the same, I replied " Put your hand under the front wheel whilst I sit in the C5 then " ... He for some reason did  ::) , lets say he didnt do it again. The C5 gripped well, Not fast but a good conversion on a budget.
