C5 meet and Runs Idea
« on: 14, February, 2010 - 16:52:37 »
just an idea kicked on by the Milton Keynes meet in May

some years ago i had some friends who lived in MK, on one visit they took us to see a fairly nearby and realy beautiful canal lock.

this really pleasant memory has just set me thinking that you don't tend to get too many steep hills on canal tow path's, but you do get quite a lot of pubs, hotels and eateries, so some members might have ideas where we could go for some really nice summer runs in what would also ofer ideal C5 conditions.

as nobody has chimed in yet on this thread - how about Holland for a forum meet? real flat and i'm sure there's a few old pubs and dykes we could explore  ;).

need to check on the road laws  ::)
