There was a little bit of bad luck with my effort. The resin I used to make the copy was hard and broke easy. The mall I used from clay, I now learned shrinks in the oven, less then 1% but enough to break the spacer plate as I tried to fit it on. Second and third attempt are in process now. I made a mall by painting the spacer example plate i have with a brush with latex, maybe 40 layers or so.
I now have an outside and going to try it again with the same resin but was already informed that I should use PU rubber. At 45 pounds for a single bottle of this rubber, I try it with the same resin first. You know, we cheap Dutch.
Also made a mall from playdo, children's clay that dries in the air, I dried it with the original in it so it couldn't shrink, but took a while to dry.
I keep you informed of my progress.
