Title: C5 body project
Post by: minidaz on 29, June, 2009 - 15:31:32
As some of you know i recently bought one of Karls old shells with the intention of ' doing it up ' a little bit.
Gave it a wash over the weekend, and I think my evenings for the next week or so might be a bit busy  :D :D

Got quite a few small scratches to sort out along with a couple of nice big / deep / long ones. Made a start last night with the sandpaper ( hand and electric ) and i think, with a bit of patience, it'll come up nice, with the intention of getting the primer on within 2 weeks.

I've mostly decided on the final colour ( not Pink  :D ), and if it turns out nice, i might swop the body on my current C5. If it all goes wrong, then atleast the chickens will have something to play with  :D :D

Will get some progress pics put on at some stage  ;D

For a very short while the thought of a C5 covered in typical 1980's curtain material crossed my mind  :D

Just out of interest Karl, what adhesive did you use for the furry one ?

The glue was from B&Q, evo-stik solvent free impact adhesive....
