Hi all, been thinking about buying a C5 for many years, well finally decided I need to get one.
Think I would be better getting one that's in good order rather than start another restoration  :P

This forum looks like the place to be, I need to do some serious reading of past posts before
I start asking stupid questions, then hopefully someone could help me to get started.

Thanks in advance,
Carl.

welcome to c5alive mate  :)

my advice would be to start with the forum guide ,especially the bit that links to the buyers guide...might save you a few pennies in avoiding a potential nightmare purchase  ;)

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Still living in the Isle Of Man at the moment but moving back to Liverpool over Easter,
so will start the hunt then  :)
Haven't even seen one in the flesh for years, so if anyone lives in the area and wouldn't mind
me coming to have a skeet that would be great.
Thanks again,
Carl

Hi Carl,

I am in North Manchester 5 mins from J17 M60 (Prestwich), you would be welcome to have a go as I have two standard ones fully operational and one in refurb (24v conversion).

Sounds good, thanks Lance, I'll email you when we are sorted and arrange a visit, if that's OK.
