Now the proud owner of one high viz mast, front wheel moulding plus mirrors :) It's getting there, and getting another C5 project tomorrow lol

What I'm looking at doing as a project soon is gutting a shell, mounting it on a frame, and fitting a couple of kids car seats in it so it can be towed behind an adult like a trailer-bike... think it's possible?

  • You don't have to be mad to own a C5, but it helps

Hi danny,

as far as the trailer part is concerned there should be no problem, that is if you have two very skinny kids, otherwise you will need to widen the body somewhat.  ::) ::)

Not skinny, tiny, one' s 2 and one's 9 months :) I'm not saying it would last them long but I'm thinking the 2 year old in the main seat, get rid of the centre console and make a solid floor with a car seat bolted to it. Then just need to work out if my wife could actually pedal it with those two behind lol! So it would be a take on the family bike ride... her C5 is heavily modified so I won't feel too bad about fitting some sort or tow bar to the back, and the shell's dead. It's just an idea right now, but I think it would make a fun little project :)

My wife was even thinking about turning the shell into a kids bed ;) 101 Uses For A Dead C5 lol :)
