For all those coming along to Brooklands on Sunday, the c5alive stand will be somewhere near the nose of Concorde (the real one, not the smaller model by the car park !). Should be fairly easy to locate us  ;D

Directions to the venue are on the Brooklands website;

...dont forget to use the Campbell Gate entrance, shows as point 2 on the map

Do we have to c5 it through the Campbell gate entrance or can we drive our own cars through with the c5s in them?

As an exhibitor you'll be permitted to drive onto the site via Campbell Gate to where the c5alive display will be, once unloaded the exhibitors then park their vehicles elsewhere (usually out of the way behind the large aircraft hanger). Be guided by the Brooklands staff on the day.

We're aiming to arrive around 9am, see you there  ;D .

As you can see from the earlier picture, we had a fantastic spot for the c5alive display at this years Double 12 event. Situated under the tail section of Concorde, next to the refreshments, not far from the First Aid point and close to the loo's. We were also situated on the return run from the Test Hill, so all the cars that had completed a run up the hill had to come back past us - a sort of continuous parade of classic cars...Superb !

Radiomarty piloted "challenger" up Test Hill , followed by electricDave on the c-5000 . Both completed three runs on the Test Hill much to the delight of the crowds and got a huge amount of applause, followed by a surge of visitors to the c5alive display all wanting to look at the performance c5's  8).Peckishere tried out "challenger" , although not on a Test Hill run, and was also suitably impressed judging by his huge grin  :D The c2.5 also attracted a lot of admiring glances...with Luke being a star & providing some guided tours of his impressive set of wheels  ;D

Some piccies from the day;

A real fun day out with some amazing machines on view and in use. We've already been invited back for nexts year event - looking forward to it  8)

ive just finished editing a small clip of the first hill runs of 'challenger' and 'c5000'. I'm not completely satisfied with it and I would like to have some feedback on how to improve the video :)

Here it is: http://youtu.be/U_kekNZ4eYs

Looks like you had a nice day out , and got to see some very nice cars  :)
I like the 2.5, not seen that before  ;D

Will try to get there next year  :)

Just seen the video. Looks good, and you certainly get an idea of speed watching both of them go up the hill. The c5000 made challenger seem slow  :D :D

I was extremely impressed with it's acceleration and speed :D. luckily my dad snapped a photo of me on my way back to the C5 stand with a look of excitement and fear  :P

Great video and pictures, really see how fast C-5000 is up the hill when you watch is against challenger.
